I know that the 245 will get Pace Pro but will it get the six data field option like the Fenix 6S, 6 and Forerunner 945?

Have seen from Ray's Fenix 6 review that the 245 will get the new race Pro feature (only from uploaded courses though) but will it also get the option to display six fields at once. This is being ported to the 945 along with other stuff but would be nice to see on this watch too.

You can always use Dozen Run and get 12 data fields! :)

Dozen run is the best. Even has live race time prediction.

So I can see pacepro strategies have showed up on the garmin connect app under the training menu and we can enter in our strategies, but it won't let me synch to watch?

Sure. PacePro is only available for Fenix 6 at the moment. Be patient.

do you own a 245/M? same thing happened to my app yesterday

PacePro is available to all users of the app and Garmin Connect no matter what device they are using. One can not send the created strategies to the watch if it is no Fenix 6 currently.
