No Whatsapp notifications on Garmin 245 music

Hi all,

I can`t receive whatsapp notifications on my Garmin forerunner 245 music even if it seems correctly configured. I saw the wahtsapp app for android has been recently updated...maybe something to do with it ?

Solved by removing and reinstalling the Garmin Connect application :)

I found this on a different thread and tried it. Worked for me: On phone goto [settings > additional settings > privacy > special app access > notification access] and toggle the switch for Garmin Connect…

I found this on a different thread and tried it. Worked for me: On phone goto [settings > additional settings > privacy > special app access > notification access] and toggle the switch for Garmin Connect (Smart Notifications) off and on again(even if already on) or move to on, if in the off position.

My 245 Music has exactly the same problem. If you find a solution, please let me know.

!! FIXED !! If you guys still have the problem i fixed. (Before i start sorry for my bad english) If you are using ios go to phone settings / notifications / whatsapp / show previews and switch Always (default) if you select "never" garmin cannot see your whatsapp notifications on your watch. Just you see on your mobile. This is the solution

You can enable or get the what's app notification on your Garmin smartwatch by opening Garmin connect on your device >settings>notifications>App notifications.

Hmmm, it doesn’t work for me. Have tried everything. Reinstalled the Connect app again, another watchface. Why is all this not working? I am disappointed…
