245 Frozen during reboot

I got a 245 on Monday and woke up this morning with it hung mid-reboot. It won’t respond to any buttons other than to force a reboot, at which point it comes to the same place - progress bar about halfway on the reboot screen with the gear icon.

Any suggestions?

how did fix this? Mine is now doing the same, the soft reboot just gets me back to the same start up screen and it stops Only had it a week too!

Just a thought... Check all of the buttons to make sure they aren't sticking "in/activated". Mine stuck when re-booting and I discovered that the start/stop button was stuck in from sweat/dust. I pulled it out and then rinsed the watch off and has been good...

Thanks for this. I have tried and all the buttons seem OK. If I press buttons it flashed and beeps at me. Garmin is going to replace the watch.
