Sending itunes to the watch?

Hi,

I tried sending an itunes playlist to the watch but of the 57 songs only 14 made it. The others came up in a box titled "THE FOLLOWING FILES COULD NOT BE SENT TO YOUR DEVICE". I tried sending the rejected songs individually but with the same result. All songs were originally sent to my itunes library from CD's.I can't understand why some songs were sent and others rejected. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you play the files on your computer in iTunes?

Thanks for your reply. I think you're on the right track. I can play the songs that were able to transfer to the watch but not the problem ones. For example for the problem song Highway Star I get a message "The song "Highway Star" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" There is an option to click on a LOCATE button but this only opens with a window containing a list of desktop shortcuts and I cannot see how to locate the songs. Any suggestions?

Hi, I had thought that the problem was with Garmin software but after your comment I've been in touch with itunes. I explained about not being able to play some songs and they have sorted the problem out. Very happy with the service from Apple. Thanks again.
