The Garmin support site has this less-than-helpful page: https://support.garmin.com/en-HK/?faq=71oSKRoQJC6vLHIxL3Z0e8
It's not clear from that page what my situation will be like. I have a GPS activity (a bike ride) from about a year ago. It was recorded using my Garmin 235. Using Garmin Connect, I downloaded that old activity to my new Garmin 245 watch.
Tomorrow morning, I plan to "Race" that Activity by using the "Bike -> Options -> Training -> Race Activity -> Downloaded" option. The original activity had GPS information in it. So, the race could be realistic (slower up hills, faster down hills, etc). But the link above makes me worried that I will only be racing the "average pace" from that historical bike ride.
In this situation, an activity downloaded from Garmin Connect, but one that was recorded on a Garmin watch, will it be "realistic" or based on average pace?
