2.90 update causing constant disconnects

My watch updated to 2.90 this morning

In place of the constant restarts that the old version 2.70 exhibited, now every 5-20 minutes the watch disconnects from the phone.

I've tried restarting both devices multiple times, re-pairing, etc, nothing seems to fix the problem.

Will be calling support tomorrow, please stop forcing buggy updates on people. I would like to go back to the version prior to 2.70 when the watch worked perfectly.

  • i am also experiencing disconnecting from my Iphone (latest OS) every day. usually i need to close the Bluetooth on my phone and start it again to get a connection. pretty annoying.

  • I’m using 2.90 and have no issues with disconnects with my iPhone. 

  • I'm getting much more disconnects with 2.90 that before. Just a few before, now it consistently disconnects from the phone on every run. This is with an Android. Phone stays connected to Bluetooth headphones throughout and as noted this started with the 2.90 update so looks like a bad watch patch. Makes lots of features (audio cues, live tracking etc)  useless so hopefully it gets fixed soon

    do you have android? because I can't get my phone to stay connected to the watch longer than a second. it's extremely frustrating.
