Training Status and Training Load Question

Does anyone have an insight into Training Status and Training load?

I'm 65 and only run 3 times a week, totalling on average between 27 and 30 miles per week generally at around the 9.15 mins per mile pace. At my age the rest days are important to me. In addition, I do a 5000m row on our rowing machine usually once a week. 

This week my Garmin watch tells me that my Training Status is Peaking, but my Training load is low at 575. I didn't record the rowing session on the watch this week, but it was imported into Garmin Connect via the Concept 2 website.

Are these two readings at odds with each other. I'm a bit confused as surely if I increase my load (a bit difficult, given that I don't want to push it much more) will this also increase the already high Training Status?

Anyone got any ideas about this?
