Turn off performance notifications

Hi,

In the manual of 245 the option to turn off performance notifications in menu 'physiological metrics' is stated .  However this option does not appear in the settings menu of my watch.

Before I have used FR935 and the option was available.

Does this mean that all performance notifications are on by default?

Can someone check if this option in settings is also missing?

Screenshot added at bottom.

Many thanks

  • Hi,

Would someone be so kind to check and answer my question.  Probably I am overlooking something.

    Many thanks  in advance.

  • I don't have an option labeled "Performance Notifications", but I have an on/off switch for "Perf. Condition" under Settings > Physiological Metrics.

that might not (at all) be what you're asking about, though.

  • Hi Thanks for your reply.

Indeed, perf. cond. is also what I see.  But no perf. notifications.

On page 15 of the pdf manual you can read the same.

Based on experience with FR935 I know that you can turn off or on some first beat performance measurements seperatly (eg. VO2 max).

Apparently they are on by default and can not be turned off.  I will drop a mail to Garmin Support and will report back.

    Cheers,

    Fer
