strava map or map feature?

Does the 245 have a feature where I can send a Strava Map to the Watch and it will guide me turn left, turn right and so on? Or is this on the 945?

I am looking to upgrade to 245M or 945 and would like some mapping feature, but the 945 is for multi sport where I just run road, track and trail.

The 245 supports navigation with turn-by-turn directions, but not mapping. You won’t get a map or street names, just a breadcrumb trail. You can load routes using Garmin Connect or the Strava Routes apps. I use this kind of navigation on my 935 for long runs and it works pretty well imo.

Actually you can get detailed maps on FR245 via Locus Map application including navigation features where you can easily re-plan your trip on-to-go via your Android phone.

I installed locus maps in Android and garmin, but it's manual is a bit confusing, have you managed to make it work? Can Garmin connect routes be seen at full maps in the 245? Thanks
