Weather/sunrise/GPS content on watch faces not loading

Any third party watch faces that use GPS to show sunrise/sunset, weather, or other GPS-dependent data do not display. Using the same watch faces that I had on the 645 that worked -- ActiFace, Spark Face, Rails. On all of them, even after starting a GPS activity, the data is blank. Thought it might be an app issue, but since it's consistent across multiple I wonder if it is an issue with the 245.

I’ve noticed the same thing, although I have Actiface working properly most of the other watch faces are unable to get geolocation info. I think it may be an app/watchface permissions issue.

There seems to be a FW bug, but here's a trick that's worked for mine.

Start something like the run activity, and wait for a GPS fix. Long press "up", and you'll see a menu that starts with "Run Settings", and move down to "Watch face", and then press the upper right button. You'll see your current watch face, and it will get the GPS location, as GPS is actually "on" at this point. Back out until you exit the run activity.

Thanks for the heads up, there also seems to be another workaround. Download the Garmin Sun and Moon widget, once you've used the widget and has got a GPS lock go back to your current watch face and the next sun event should be there. It's worked for a few watch faces I've tried.

I have the sun/moon working on my 245M with Data Lover.

It's the normal weather widget which give me funny result.

I think that WF allows you to set the lat/lon with settings.

The native weather widget I think uses your phone's location, so you need to have location services turned on for the phone.

I only see the stock watch faces when I do that.
