Update: This issue seems to have been a permissions issue, and has been resolved by enabling, I believe, smart notifications (or potentially the phone and SMS permissions).
I'm having an issue with controlling music on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8) using my FR 245 Music. I've of course changed the music provider to "Control Phone", but when I press and hold DOWN, I get a plain white screen with "Start Music on Phone" on it, regardless of if I have music already playing on my phone or not. There are no music playback controls visible whatsoever, but if I press START/STOP, Google Play Music opens up and starts/stops playing, even if I am playing music using another app.
If I instead scroll UP or DOWN from my watch face to the music widget, which has a green patterned background with "Start Music on Phone" on it, if I press START/STOP, it goes to the plain white screen described above, and I have to press START/STOP again to get music to start/stop (and again, it's only through Google Play Music). If I press BACK, the music playback controls flash for only a second before disappearing (and the screen goes back to the green patterned music widget).
So there seem to be a few issues: I cannot control music playing in any other app besides Google Play Music, and I cannot see the music playback controls. Is there something I'm missing that is causing these issues? Thanks!
