Disconnecting from iMac

Just got a new FR245 music, and have just been for a first run which was great except for the audio prompt at every mile telling me how slow I was (now turned this off!). Music sounded good through Jabra Sports Elite with no drop outs.

Quick question - the FR245 doesn't seem to mount as a volume on my mac OSX 10.13 which my previous Garmin watches did. To disconnect do you simply unplug the USB cable, or is there another way of doing this?

Any advice gratefully received.

Just unplug it.

The reason you don't see it as a volume on a mac, is because it has music, it's an "MTP" drive and not a mass store device. It's the same with all the garmin music devices. If you do want to access anything on the watch, you can use something like Android File Transfer (https://www.android.com/filetransfer/), and if I recall, Garmin Express needs to be closed when you use if.

If you do use Android File Transfer, Garmin Express will tell you it needs to be closed and give you the option to close it from the pop-up box.
