So you expect someone else to do the work for you...

It seems that the music versions are supported longer/better than the non-music-versions:
The Vivoactive 3 Music got some new features added (safety and tracking features) with the last update that the Vivoactive 3 hasn't gotten yet and there is no sign that they will be added.
The FR 645 M recently got a (small) firmware update while the normal FR 645 users are still waiting for it. It will come at some point, but Garmin themselves note on the firmware page that obviously people are frustrated.
Garmin tends to support bestselling devices and more expensive devices first, so it might be a good idea to choose the FR 245 M for better support.
Well, this doesn't show up on any spec sheet and won't interest the majority of users, but the 245 Music has more memory for CIQ apps compared to the 245. This is significant especially for CIQ data fields, which are pretty memory-limited -- in this case the 245 Music has twice the available memory as the 245, for an individual CIQ data field.
IOW, apps on the 245 Music can theoretically have more features than apps on the 245....
With CIQ 3.1 a new Bluetooth Low Energy framework will be added. Due to hardware limitations this might only be possible for the music version of the watch: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/blog/developer/connect-iq-3-1-beta-now-available/
