When a new device first ships it's been loaded with FW at the factory, and by the time you get it, there is usually an initial update to install things that have been fixed since the initial "factory firmware". Things you didn't even know were an issue.
I'm not sure what a change log would do for you in this case.
Thanks for the changelog. (It wasn't there when I checked) I'm an techy kind of person so I'm always interested to know what changed. Unfortunately the changelog is intentionally kept rather vague on some topics, but nonetheless it is nice to know about some of the new stuff/fixes.
No betas for the 245/245m yet. What kind of issues are you seeing? Sometimes after new FW gets installed, it doesn't hurt to reboot the watch, as that can clear up a bunch of things.
Just hold the light button until the watch turns itself off (15-20 seconds) (ignore the "assistance" screen) and then turn it back on.
I'm having gps related issues. Pace (not average) lags sometimes for over 15-20 seconds. Got all GPS 'bars'. I live in central europe and also tried gps+(galileo|glonass). CPE is current.
I'm overall happy with HR, but also had a few occurences where it reported HR~100 when I was going hard and where I'm pretty sure itshould have been closer to 180. (Watch was firmly attached)
I've had the HR issue as well. The interesting thing is I had the same exact issue with a VA3M before I returned it. I would start an activity and HR would float around 100 BUT once I stopped the activity and then restarted it, the HR would jump up to where it should be. Seems to be software related but has been going on for way too long. It's hard to see a pattern though because sometimes HR works from the beginning and sometimes not...
