I'm exceptionally irritated about this update. My home screen was so clean with just three folders :( now I have to scroll through so many glances. Ugh.
and they have removed the option completely. Product is now much less usable.
It was there and super useful for viewing 2 metrics in a single row when scrolling through glances!

I don't recall seeing this ability before. But it would be nice to have it

This was a feature that was removed when upgrading from version 23 to 24, I think. As I didn't see anything on this forum about it, I thought it was never a real feature and there was something wrong with my watch or a really old version.
Before the update, the feature was kind of hidden. They made in a way we couldn't create a folder directly, but could move a glance to a folder and it would be created this way. After updating to version 24 this workaround was intentionally removed
It's really sad to lose features that are just software implementations and the device is totally compatible, because it was a thing that we were using

Same! It's not listed as a feature on any running watches on the Garmin site either so hard to see them bringing it back.
You'll probably find that info in the user manuals.
It’s a pity from Garmin. Also, some time after releasing the 165, they made the glances look less vibrant and colorful because it used to look like the 265 and 965. But now removing the folders… was a crime to me. Really disappointed by this model. Should have bought the 265.
I'm not sure it ever had the folders? Or I just didn't notice. But it also wouldn't be the first time they removed features, like the access to the elevation glance. It doesn't make sense to not have the glance when the watch has an altimeter.
I'm fine with the glances being less vibrant on the 165, I don't think it's GPU is strong enough for the animations and it would make it lag too much with them.
I'm 100% sure it had glances folders around July or August 2025. This was around the time I bought the watch.
Why all the work to remove something that was already there and working fine?
Hey Garmin people, any plans to have it back?
