Wi-Fi Connection Failed

My Forerunner 165 Music is failing to connect to my WiFi.

It searches for wi-fi networks, finds my wi-fibut fails to connect. The password is correct.

I have tried this on the device, connect app and Connect express on my laptop.

Any help will be appreciated

I just tried it on my watch. Switched wifi on (BT was off) and selected sync from the controls menu. It said searching for wifi networks and then error code (couldn't see what the code was). Then I switched…

I just tried it on my watch. Switched wifi on (BT was off) and selected sync from the controls menu. It said searching for wifi networks and then error code (couldn't see what the code was). Then I switched BT on and connected to my phone. In the Connect app I went to my watch (in devices) and then to connectivity. In the wifi section there's an option to test the connection. When I did that, it searched again, connected and synced.

Someone else said it should be a 2.4 GHz network, not a 5GHz, so maybe check that and the other suggestions here: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi on a Fitness Device | Garmin Support

If none of that works you should probably contact support directly. The chat option works well.

i tried that and it connected
