How do I configure that my training, created with garmin connect stops automatically after the configured training distance? Actually, after reching the training distance, the 165 does not stop the training.

Its an often asked point, but to my knowledge there is no way to do that. Just press stop , or maybe trim the activity later in GC
Thanks. Aren't the trainings that I can create on garmin connect useless now? I can easily set a target distance and an hr or pace alarm and start running and if I remember correct, then the recording stops automatically then. So, why creating trainings on the PC in advance?
I use custom workouts always , I don't have any issue with it continuing as sometimes I end at a street a few miles away , (Although i can see the purpose of it, many have reported wanting same) One can easily press stop , and save the activity at that stage.
You can set up multiple steps in the workouts and thus could split it also.
What are you trying to achieve , maybe I can suggest a layout?
May be worth logging an "idea" that they set that up as an option to STOP after last step.
Thanks for your reply and the "idea"-link, I was not aware of this. I have created an "idea" and sent it to garmin.
