Garmin Music - Stuttering after 15 mins (19.18) with Soundcore P20i

Hi,

Can I check whether anyone else is having stuttering on their 165 Music similar to:

The music (via spotify) plays fine on my 165 Music (19.18) - Soundcore P20i earphones, for about 15 minutes, and then suddenly it starts stuttering. It completely defeats the point of the music watch.

I've tried swapping wrists, etc, but since it has worked fine for 15 mins I very much doubt this is a connectivity issue.

This has happened on each run (x4) that has gone over 15 mins in the last week. This isn't a one off.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm having the exact same issue with the same headphones, just on the Epix 2 with Amazon Music instead. Get about 10 mins of continuous play before it starts stuttering and skipping. Driving me around the bend. Tried forgetting the headphones on the watch and reconnecting but has not helped. Haven't tried connecting to other headphones yet so not sure if it is a watch issue or a headphone issue

Same exact issue here, but with the FR 955 on Youtube Music. I'm using Soundcore Life A1 earbuds. I've been able to replicate the issue not during an activity, so at least for me it's not related to an activity with GPS and an HRM connected. I've also turned off various settings but could not find a configuration that solves the problem.

I have not been able to replicate the issue when using a bluetooth speaker or just a single earbud. So for now it seems to be something with the two earbud configuration.

Agreed it completely defeats the point of a music watch. This was my first time trying music because I thought it would be a good idea for playing basketball where I don't have my phone on my person. But having to reset the earbud connection every 10-15 minutes makes it unusable.
