I just ran a 3k on the treadmill and really pushed my self, had a176 avg hr and was mostly in zone 5 190s. To my surprise the training effect was tempo. Does this make sense? I thought it would be at least threshold as I felt like a 8-9/10 exertion.

I find that my watch does not like treadmill running and is a little unpredictable at how it interprets data. Running outside, i think the watch does a much better job.
