How do I quickly get back to the watch main screen on the Forerunner 165?

I can’t find any way to quickly get back to the watch main screen. I can go back over and over, but there must be a way to go right back to the main screen. I read somewhere that putting your palm over the watch face is supposed to do it, but that doesn’t work.

Mine does just to home screen when I place my palm over it. It vibrates and jumps to home.

Are you pressing the back button on the bottom right? It works fine for me when I do that regardless of what menu I'm on

If you are in several options or menus deep, then back button returns you one step back. Meaning you are not instantly moved to home screen.

I was able to get that to work. You need to do this in a particular way. I had been wrapping my hand around it, with my palm on the screen, but if you push down with your palm it works. Thanks.
