Check what software version

The forum thread states Software Version 19.18 is the latest for the 165 but I am unable to find this anywhere on my watch it says I am on 6.08 brand new out the box.

It also says to go to

Menu > System > Software Update > Check For Updates

This only gives the option to turn Auto update on or off not to check for updates, am I looking in the wrong place?

Do you have the ability to connect the watch to a PC?

Very strange it wouldn't pull any firmware from the connect app, once connect to a PC and to Garmin Express on disconnecting it prompted for update 19.18. Thanks

Ok thats good. It pulls FW via WiFi so you need to have the WiFi connected on the Watch.
