Change the dialect

Good morning,
Some time ago, in a previous software version, I changed the Audio Prompts to English in dialect option. Later, I discover that this option was not working correctly. The voice announces English words with the language defined in the watch (they are different, in my case). I discover this only after a new software version was installed, that removed the dialect option, so I can’t change the dialect.
Any ideas how to solve this bug?

Hi, you can't find the dialect option

the manual always indicate it, but it's from past version

Same in 255s. Dialect options has gone. Now my voice is in an strange english. spanish english mixed.

Any solution?

The issue is the system maintained the previously configured dialect, and I cannot change it. Even if I choose now a different language for my 165, the dialect will always be the one I’ve choose when dialect option was available.

I can't explain why the Dialect option disappear for you, but even with this option we have issue like you on F7/E2.

And like F7/E2 i saw this 19.xx going Live without fixing issues reported during Beta Phase, it is unintelligible.

Problem solved. Audio Prompts are back to my selected dialect. My Garmin FR165 continues to be in Version 19.18, but Garmin Connect app was updated to version 5.3, so it has to do with the Garmin Connect app and not the watch.

Interesting fact is that FR165 only have Brazilian Portuguese language. In March, when I bought the watch, Audio Prompts were only in Brazilian Portuguese, and after Garmin Connect app was updated to version 5.3 I can now listen to Audio Prompts in European Portuguese (language of my mobile phone).
