Does the Forerunner 165 allow for uploading GPX files onto the watch?

You can also look at DC Rainmaker on YT , he has good detailed reviews on the 165 up now.

I found this support note that may be helpful. One can load the course to Connect and then Sync with device. (I have a different model so cannot comment specifically on FR165 , but this support note from Garmin re the FR165 seems to indicate it would work.
