T8000 Smart Bike Beta FW Update not working

I just got a new Tacx Neo Smart Bike T8000 and wanted to install the Beta to get Shimano Shifting, steering support etc. The Beta Fimware update is failing. Is a production version going to be released soon?
I am afraid this is going to be a stranded asset so want to think if I better return this piece.

yes I saw that. It seems no one is really looking into this. They didnt release this beta to production within more than 2 years. I will rather return the bike, dont want to buy something that expensive that is not getting any support from the manufacturer anymore.
