Bottom bracket replacement t8000.61

I changed the bottom bracket cup on the drive side, but before I change the non-drive side I have a question about which screws in the flywheel area should not be unscrewed to prevent it from misaligning. There are six screws in the flywheel area in addition to the small ones that hold the left side cover. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks

  • You have to remove all screws and using the disc extractor, secure back 3 screws and tighten the big bolt that comes with the extractor tool. But I think the picture seems to wrong side? Should be the right side of the bike where to remove the free wheel hub to clean the magnetic part

  • You don’t have to remove this part to replace the BB. Unless you plan to clean the magnetic hub, which should be on the drive side. If that’s the case, you’ll have to remove all screws and use the disc extractor tool to secure 3 screws back attaching the extractor to the disc and tighten the big bolt that comes with the extractor tool to replace the hub

  • Thanks Titus, so far everything is ok, if I need to replace the bottom bracket cup on the non-driver side, I will only replace the bearing with a specific tool without disassembling the entire cover. Thanks again.
