How to get Steering on Tacx NEO Smart Bike

I am currently on the most current version of the Tacx Training App (4.60.0) on my Android device, and on my Tacx NEO Smart Bike firmware version v0.0.46. I have followed the instructions on the Forum under the "Tacx NEO Bike Smart - New Beta Available" question, however this no longer appears to work. Are there updated instructions on how to get steering?, or other ways to get what appears to be upgraded firmware &/or Tacx Training App?

I just did this update on my brand new neo bike smart and had no issues. Steering and the other functions work like a charm. I do have the iOS app though…

What version of the Tacx Training App and Neo Smart Bike Firmware are you now on?

My training app version is 4.61.7.

my Neo bike is now obviously on fw levell 4.5.0 but prior to the upgrade to beta I updated to 0.0.46 as per the instructions. I think the bike came in with something like 0.0.40.

When you followed the instructions did you have a prompt to update firmware in the app, or is it not giving you an option to install the update?

I have an iPhone and did the beta update to my Neo bike. When you connect the bike to the app, it still shows v0.0.46 on the main set up screen, but if you tap on the firmware update it shows that it is on v4.5.0.

Same here, I also had to close the intance of the app I used for the beta update and power-cycle the bike, after the update it kept resetting the connection at first. After this it was fine, but indeed reporting v0.0.46 in the main screen until you open the details.

I was able to successfully now install for Beta version via my Android device, so thanks for the assistance . I clicked on the webpage via the forum and it brought up the Tacx Training App and then said a new Firmware version was available, at which time I connected my NEO Smart Bike and it went through the process of upgrading the firmware. I have now tested Steering on Zwift and it works very well.

I have upgraded the bike to 4.5.0 and in PAIRED DEVICES I then found/connected my Tacx Smart Bike 00.... under CONTROLS in Zwift. Connected it, but which buttons on the bike are used. It's only the two blue ones and they don't get the avatar to steer in Zwift.
