Tacx NEO bike (new) handlebar

Can the new handlebar from a Tacx Neo bike plus be used and work fine on the "old" Tacx Neo bike smart? if not, will this upgrade be ever allowd?

I have seen that it has been done in a Neo FB group, but it's not cheap. I think it was around $800US to buy the new handlebar assembly.
