Hello fellow Garmin users, I am in desperate need of your help. I have a Tacx Smartbike trainer which has undergone (unfortunately) multiple replacements due to a variety of different issues and failures - broken cranks, drivetrain issues, the works. The most recent replacement unit I received toward the end of last year was working out great, until a few weeks ago. Whenever I ride, I can hear this awful high-pitched screeching noise that drives me crazy. My wife can hear it across our home, and our cats absolutely hate it. It's high-pitched which makes it challenging to capture over audio of course, but I managed to gather what I thought was a few good samples and sent them off to Garmin tech support, after considerable back and forth. Support absolutely swears up and down they "can't hear anything unusual", so I have turned to my last bastion of hope, my fellow users.
