Bike stuck in "uploading" while installing firmware update

Hi all,

I just received my new bike, installed all parts, started the app and was prompted to install a firmware update. Now it seems like I am stuck in "uploading" stage in the app. No progress for at least 1 hour. The app shows the bike as a device as well as a DFU device, which seems correct. I can also connect to the DFU device and start the firmware update, but simply nothing happens. Screen shows "uploading" and that's it...

Any help or ideas? Please don't tell me I have to return the bike to the shop... Disappointed

  • So the customer support replied to me and were able to fix the issue!

    1) Disconnect bike from power at least 10-15min (I did it over night)

    2) Uninstall TACX app on the mobile phone (mine was iOS)

    3) Reinstall app

    4) Reconnect the bike with power supply and pair with app

    5) Update

    This worked for me, my bike is up to date and working nicely! Hope that helps somebody with the same issue,

  • I had the same problem with Tacx Neo until today.  I had been trying to update with my iPhone but just "uploading".  I tried to do the same update with an Android tablet and it worked!  Something is different but happy that the device accepted all the updates.  If this is still an issue for you or others, hope the Android solution is helpful.
