No resistance anymore

I have zero resistance when cycling. The bike is not reacting on shifting and has no resistance. Looks like this happened after the firmupdate? Somebody else the same problem?

I have the same problem. Did a firmware update today, made a tour and in the middle of the deacend the resistance was gone!

We had the same issue. We got a new frame from Garmin.

Now we have a bluetooth error, it want connect to tacx app or Zwift

I got a new frame too. Bluetooth connection works. I had an Error because the delivered firmeware was 0.0.0. I could update to 0.0.43 and everything works fine now.

Hi similar issue i had after a short Pause. I crested a support ticket and Garmin replace my resistance unit (9 months, warranty)-
I am using TACX Vortex

I have the same issue… This keeps happening on more than one occasion. And what sucks is there’s no customer service on the weekend. This really is bad for racing. Get dropped out of nowhere.

Happened to me this morning. Out of nowhere. No resistance whatsoever and even though I tried to update for the new firmware.

We’ll see what happens tomorrow… I did firmware last month. What’s funny is that it says I’m all ready to go. Hmmm NOT

+2000€ for this equipment and they have this massive problem?! Seems that more people have the same issue. I have lost faith in Tacx's quality control.

I just got off of Garman customer service. They are great. I have the smart trainer bike and apparently it was an older model. It has been updated changed now. So they are sending a replacement.

Nice to hear. Almost the same service for me. A replacement will be dispatched as soon as one is in stock. - Hopefully soon.

Good thing that the 2 years warranty will renew, but still disappointed that this can happen without the app telling, that something is wrong.
