Kilometres not counting to cycle totals or V02 MAX calculations

Cannot understand why the hours I put in on the trainer are not used to calculate my V02 MAX or add towards challenges etc.

Is there any plan to address this?

Nor does the load affect training status. Surely this is not too hard to address.
