Tacx activity automatic upload to Garmin Connect

I am puzzled that the there is no option to automatically upload Tacx activity to Garmin Connect! We can upload to Strava, but not to Garmin??? I purchased the Tacx over Wahoo expecting the integration into the Garmin ecosystem. but to my surprise there is no such option! I am very disappointed.

Garmin-Matthew can you let us know when we should expect this functionality?

Not to sure they even bother with the bike now we haven’t even reached firmware 1.0 yet after a year

Hi Garmin-Patrick looks like Garmin-Matthew is not monitoring this forum but I see your name to be active. Can you share insides here? Should we just move to Zwift and not bother with Tacx applications? Please advise.

Hi MarcinB! This is actually something that we are currently hard at work on. I can't comment exactly how soon it will be available, but it is a high priority for us to get this working.

Garmin-Patrick thank you for getting back to us. Hopefully management is recognizing a major loss of opportunity here. As soon as you make the new user look elsewhere to gain workout integration (away from Tacx application), they might not come back. Your window of capturing the Tacx subscription is very narrow right after the purchase. There is some serious urgency here. Hope to hear GREAT news soon.

Hi, why isn’t it possible to connect a Tacx Neo Bike to Garmin Connect? Also did connect Zwift to Connect but that doesn’t work too.

Prinssen,

Your activity automatically appears in GC almost immediately on completion. You do not need to see it as a device it appears and if you add the Bike Smart as gear you can make it the gear used for your ride on connect.
