It depends a lot from ZWIFT. For sure when onther brands start implementing it, TACX will have it also. It could happend that the TACX firmware is ready but they are waiting for ZWIFT.
No steering is a deal breaker for buying a smart bike. Spending 3000-4000$ when you can get an inexpensive Steero device (that actually turns with handlebars) doesn’t make sense.
I think most of us know that. What we are not happy about is that a company the size of Garmin/Tacx - who went to all the trouble of including hardware buttons cant' sort out whatever agreement they need to make with Zwift to make our multi-thousand dollar smartbikes work like they were intended to work.
Agreed. Also buttons, as compared to turning handlebars, are lame. Competitive products (Sterzo and Wahoo) offer a more immersive experience with turning of the handlebars. Those products may have other shortcomings but I cannot see paying thousands for button steering when the point is to simulate riding a bike.
