Proof of Tacx Neo Smart Bike wattage difference

So this was tested using powrtap 2 pedals and a Garmin 1000. The pedals are spot on and have been tested on the road plenty of times and compared with a stages powermeter etc.

There is a huge difference in watts between what is being registered on zwift and the bike itself, and what is being registered by the pedals.

Ridiculously, despite the power tap saying 180 watts, it still feels way harder on that bike. Like cycling through water, it’s just so wrong.

when are Garmin/tacx going to actually admit it’s wrong and do something about it. I’ve paid a huge amount of money for a trainer that doesn’t work. One of the fans also turns off every few seconds. And given it’s supposed to feel just like gears in a bike, I can’t actually turn the pedals on the smallest gear and big ring on the front.
