“Feature Request: Allow Tacx Neo 3M to use external power meter as power source (PowerMatch)”

Hello, I would like to see the possibility of implementing a power management system in the Tacx Neo 3m, so that we can use, for example, the power of the Assioma pedals, and have the Neo 3m transmit that power through a single channel, like Wahoo or Elite do. It would be very interesting, and I think it could be implemented with a Fireware update.

For any other trainer out there, I'd agree with you. But when it comes down to it, the Neo 3M is already reporting your power accurately, without any known failures, at a higher degree of accuracy than most power meters out there. Based on DC Rainmaker's and GPLama's testing, and comparing it to Favero pedals, it is the same numbers. And there's no calibration and possible drift happening either. So, in this case, I don't the value. It's golden standard of power data.

At no point have I doubted the reliability and precision of the 3M Neo. All I ask is to have that option in case we as users want to choose to have it read the power of our pedals. It's like giving that option and creating greater value to the product, which is already very good in itself. I don't think it's a very complicated option to include.
