My NEO2T started to develop some problems:
- grinding noise at higher power levels
- sudden (huge) increase in resistance, even when doing low power training session
I noticed that these problems are worse when titled to the right. Normally when you stop pedaling, the flywheel of the Tacx NEO2T would continue to spin for a while. But when I tilt to the right the flywheel immediately stops. It is also impossible to start pedaling again then. When leaning, it keeps on spinning nicely.
I have tried removing and reinstalling the disc, looking for any metal particles, but without success. I do notice that the magnets show quite some wear marks, like they have been rubbing against other parts. See photo attached.
Any idea how to fix this?
