Tacx NEO 2T can’t pedal forwards

I’ve just unpacked my new NEO 2T and noticed straight away the the free hub would ratchet backwards but not turn the flywheel forwards. I’ve now installed the cassette, the correct spacers, mounted the bike and paired with app and it’s impossible to pedal forward - what am I doing wrong?

Sounds like you might have a defective unit. But, just to make sure, try shifting into your easiest gears first, since pushing a NEO 2T in your hardest gears requires some effort (and I don't know how strong you are).

Thanks, FTP is approx 280W. It's not moving. Garmin have confirmed that it is faulty so it's on the way back to them.
