Axle diameter

I bought the 12mm through axle adaptor to Neo 2 but the diameter of the Tacx trainer axle seems to be 13-14mm so the adaptor won’t fit. Everywhere online says it is 12mm but mine is not. Any ideas?

Do you have Neo2 or Neo2 SE (special edition) what is the product number?, Txxxx what? (you find it on the box or on the sticker under the trainer)

T2850. Apparently there should be alternate inserts for the axle in the box and then I use my bikes own through axle. But I don’t think there were these inserts in the box.

yes, T2850 but should be a subnumber also like T2850.61 or similar. if You have this one which is the SE model, you need an adapter for the Neo2T (wider axle) and not the classic Neo2. 142x12 and 148x12 adatapters are in the box, if You have a different type of thru-axle bike, you need a specific one which made for the 2T.

what is the type of your bike's thruaxle? 135x10 or similar different from the 2 "defaults" above mentioned?

I don’t see a sub number but I’m sure I should have those inserts as looked a bit online. Bike has a 12mm axle. I’ll ask Taxc and see if they can send me the DS and Non-DS inserts. Thank you!

yes, those should be in a plastic bag in the original box with a quick-releaser. yes, write to the Garmin support and they will send You by post for sure .
