New Neo2T gears

Got a new crankset so the gearing on the Neo2T seems a bit better. I had a 50-34 and now have a 52-36

I had a Tacx Flux for about six years, so I would be working in the easier gear ranges to get into the 130W-150W range, Now with the new Neo2T, I have to get into the middle of the cassette to get over 100W.

Is this because:

My old Flux just didn't spin as well give flywheel and it's age

The new Neo2T spins better so you need to be in a harder gear to get the same effect?

Thanks,
