zwift virtual gear changes - please update the firmware

a little feature request if you will. it would be great if garmin updated the firmware of their top trainer to get use of the recently introduced virtual gearing in zwift. thanks ;)

As per the response from GPlama we as a community need to request this from Tacx...................... COME ON Garmin/Tacx get on with enabling virtual shifting

Yes, testing is in beta - works for a start. Did two test rides so far. The programmer is gold!

I suspect it would work fine. The version is still in beta and the version that takes the gears directly from zwift is closed beta (need to drop the developer a line to get this version 2.18)

I would love to know how to do this. I bought the QZ app, but as an old guy, the configuration was too much trouble to figure out so I never did. :-( Is there a quick primer on how to set up QZ for virtual shifting in Zwift, MyWhoosh, or Indivelo using Zwift play?

Hi Garmin-Clayton. Thank you for responding its great to (finally....... sorry!!) see a reply from Garmin. I am a bit confused by your reply, sorry i am not very good with tech. Please can you confirm that Garmin ARE going to enable virtual shifting for users of Zwift in the near future? many thanks for any clarification you can bring.

Hi, I'm saying that qz is already bringing virtual gears from your trainer to zwift! Qz is an app that talk with your trainer and with zwift adding virtual gearing (and not only!)
