Campagnolo 11 speed Cassette installation problem

I just purchased a Tacx Neo 2T and I am in the process of setting it up.

Since I have an 11 speed Campagnolo Cassette, I also purchased the Campagnolo free hub 2875.51 and installed that with no problems

However, when I install my Cassette on the free hub, it seems like the free hub is too narrow as the last ring of sprockets cannot slide onto the free hub. I can make it sit there by tightening the  lock ring, but when I put my bike on the trainer, the smallest sprocket ring touches my frame (I use normal quick release, not thru Axl).

So I guess that is has got something to do with spacers, but I guess that if I add a spacer, it will just be worse?

I do not have the same problem with the free hub of my wheel, it has sufficient width to fit all the sprockets rings of my cassette.

Anyone has any ideas?

Thanks

  • What cassette are you trying to install (It shouldnt make a difference as all Campagnolo cassettes per speed are interchangeable) Do you happen to have a spacer installed BEFORE you installed the cassette on, that would effectively push everything out and eat up the width you have for the cassette... When you say "the last ring of sprockets" Im a little lost as the last set of cogs are all individual on the 11s stuff... Do you have the spline lined up correctly on the last sprocket... is there any "play" in the cassette if you try to wiggle it? Im just going after all the obvious here as I run Campy on the original Neo...
