Neo 2T with Windows or Android App not it does not report pedaling balance data between right and left

I'm using the Neo 2T connected to both a Windows laptop with the Tacx App and an android tablet always with the Tacx app always with a free (non-premium) account. At the end of training, I never have the pedaling ratio between right and left. I ask you if it is normal for the free account or even for the premium account these data are not available.

Another question, what changes if I connect the Neo 2T to my Fenix 7X, will I have more data and pedaling dynamics or will nothing change?

Is it possible to have an image with a graph as shown in the photo below or is it a non-existent function on the top-of-the-range Neo 2T trainer costing €1200.00?

  • The graph you are looking for is only available in the Microsoft Store application and is created on-the-fly by the application and not saved. There is a Garmin Support Center Article titled 'Pedal Stroke Analysis With a Tacx Smart Trainer'.

The first paragraph of this article states:

"With a Tacx NEO 2, NEO 2T, NEO Bike, or NEO Bike Plus connected to the Tacx Desktop app (Windows only) you will see a live Left/Right (L/R) pedal analysis widget on the screen. This pedal stroke analysis data will not be saved for later viewing in the Tacx Desktop app or in your Garmin Connect account."

From what I have read in other discussions on this it is debatable as to how much any pedaling analysis information would be useful. A hub based power meter, which in effect the Tacx NEO 2T (or any other smart trainer) is, cannot directly measure what is happening at the pedals and could only infer it based on when the left pedal passed near the cadence sensor.

If you pair your fenix 7X to the power meter in the Tacx NEO 2T (assuming it is enabled) you should be able to see left/right balance and pedal smoothness.,
