Can I tune rear mech on neo t2u with zero resistance or do I have to tune on my bike first before transferring to trainer?

Im having real trouble tuning my mech whilst on the trainer ie the pedals are too hard to turn by hand, as the neo isn’t allowing me to free pedal as it were. Probably a user error…

Try using the Tacx Training App to set a negative slope and turning the pedals should be easy.

Thanks. I think my neo could be broken. Seems to rotate a bit rough, quite a bit of vibration i was thinking it was my gearing but reckon could be a bearing issue….

Neos seem to have a problem with bearing quality. My second Neo 1 was replaced under warranty for worn bearings. I now have a Neo 2, but too new for problems to show yet.

However, Tacx Faqx have some opinions on the matter. You might want to try a warranty claim or get yourself a bearing kit if out of warranty.
