Linking Tacx with Garmin Connect

Today I received an iOS update (December 7th 2020) for the Tacx app. It states we can now link our Garmin Connect with Tacx. I own the Neo 2T and was wondering if anyone has tried doing this yet. I can’t seem to find any information on how to do this?

You simply need to wait

When Garmin will release this features in the Tacx app you will see something similar than this:

Managed the merge on my PC, works, although if you use your edge 530 as well during a training session, it’ll duplicate it in GC.

edit. Can’t login at all now, very frustrating!

Since i linked my two accounts i cannot log in to tacx anymore. Does anyone have the same issue?

It forced me to link mine in order to login to the windows desktop app and now I can not login. It just keeps circling back to the login screen. I am stuck. I can't use the app. So now my expensive trainer is a paper weight. There is no way to bypass it.

I tried uninstalling the desktop app and reinstalling, same thing happens. Garbage.

i've lost my "current" activity yesterday, when support made "connection" betwen Tacx and garmin but, what to do ? I have to live with that

Which username and password are you using? Garmin or Tacx?

I found first thing this morning that my iPhone Tacx app logged in OK, but my iPad wouldn’t. I then noticed that overnight a new version of the Tacx app (both iPhone and iPad) had appeared; once I had updated the apps I could log in fine. It’s the Garmin Connect login credentials that work; the Tacx ones are seemingly discarded in the account merging process. I’ve also just checked logging in to the Tacx cloud website and that requires my Garmin Connect credentials too. The one thing that does seem to have gone missing in the process, is my activity history.
