New Service Part: Bearing Replacement Kit

We’re excited to announce a new service part available for your Neo 2T that will allow you to replace the bearings in your trainer without the hassle of having to pull and press the bearings yourself!

We expect our bearings to last a long time, but if yours do finally need replacement this kit should make it a simple swap.  If your trainer is still in the warranty period please contact our Support team so we can get you all fixed up.

Please see the included link for details about the NEO series bearing replacement part and replacement procedures.

  • It is available in Canada, but we don't currently have it set up for sale on garmin.com.  If you reach out to our Support team we should be able to get that ordered for you!

  • Thanks, Patrick,  how long typically should the factory bearings last?  Has Tacx come out with a default mean time between failure?

  • The bearings should last a long time, I don't have a specific MTTF to share, but if yours are already bad it would be best to get in touch with support.  Assuming you are still within your warranty period this is something that should absolutely be covered.  I'd also add that we'd be keen to get yours back so we can figure out what went wrong.

  • Thank you, I'll check the warranty first.

I’ve got an issue with my Neo2t the bearings feeling rough I’ve replaced all the drivetrain-cassette chain new chainrings refitted ensured the cassette is seated correctly and the gears are indexed and the front shifts correctly. There is no contact with the disc by the rear mech cage and there are no unusual noises. And it still feels rough through the pedals and when you rotate the cranks by hand, and when you rotate the disc without a bike mounted. I opened a ticket on the 9 November and have spoken to 4 different support colleagues and I’m no further getting the issue resolved
