Paring between phone and NEO 2T isn't working

I bought a NEO 2T yesterday but when trying to update firmware from 0.0.26 to 0.0.34 the Tacx Utility app gets stuck on 'entering bootloader'. I am using a Galaxy s9. I also noticed when trying to pair the phone and trainer they won't pair, I just see the trainer as 'available'. Any ideas?
