TacX NEO 2T. Can anyone help???

During the middle of my ride, the unit became very hard to pedal. Zwift was still showing as connected, but all 3 lights on the unit had gone black and the blue power light on the power adapter was flashing. When disconnected from the unit, the blue light on the adapter is solid. I disconnected the power adapter from the unit and wall for 60min and tried again. The result was the same and neither Zwift or TacX Trainer apps can connect.

The unit is very new. Thanks in advance!

  • Could it be that the 2T was updating? Try checking the Tacx app and see what Firmware version it says... If you can't connect via the app, disconnect the 2T from the power, wait 15 minutes and connect the power again.

Thanks but the app can't connect to the trainer because there is no blue tooth signal. I think this is because there is no power. All three lights on the trainer are off.

If there are no lights on the trainer, that would suggest that either the power supply or the trainer has developed a fault. Regardless, there is probably not any type of user level intervention to resolve this so assuming your trainer is < 2 years old, you should send an email to [email protected] with a full description of your problem.

I have the exact same problem with my new TacX Neo 2T. The trainer is not powering up at all.

I'm waiting to hear back from Garmin and will post again here once I've heard from them.

Garmin were no help. They told me to contact my distributor who told me to contact Garmin. Noone is doing anything and distributor has no product and not working during lockdown here in Singapore. Really poor service :(

Unfortunately it was a major so they refunded the purchase price of the unit. Was quite underwhelmed with Garmin's support. Also they we're unable to provide a replacement unit so ended up buying a Wahoo Kickr which has been faultless.

  • I have the same problem in my TacX NEO 2T. LEDs no light, no power. I sended email to my distributor

  • Continuation of story :)

I sent my failure Tacx NEO 2T on Tuesday to my dealer (Poland "eazymut.pl"), waited one week and received a new Tacx NEO 2T the next Wednesday. Very good level of service!
