Tacx Neo 2 o.38 Firmware problem

I upgraded from 0.36 to 0.38 (foolishly) an now Zwift says no signal for my power and cadence. HRM is okay. Has anyone else had a problem

Normally I use ANT+ with my PC, but I just tried a quick check with my Tab S7+ and Bluetooth. All working as expected.

Only 8W while hand cranking, and no cadence without a foot passing the sensor, but all connected.

I held off from upgrading until sept 2024. Am amazed they have done no further upgrades since then but perhaps Tacx is not Garmin's focus.
On .38 my Power & Cadence is working fine on Zwift, but I had the same problem many logged in 2022 in the upload of the software blocking. It took me 12 forced quits and restarts to complete the upload. Clearly Garmin had done nothing about that in two years. My Tacx Neo Smart is a superb machine. I am looking to go to a complete Bike system, but do not want to continue to buy Tacx if the service is so bad….. I have to ponder which brand to repurchase

I upgraded my Neo 2 two days ago. Hour ride y'day no issues; 40 minutes into today's ride and lost all resistance, and like SGoltz, Zwift had no signal. Also had a slight burning plastic smell. Could be the age of the Neo 2, as I have had it for about 5 years. But probably should not have updated the firmware - just had a feeling of "why fix what isn't broke." Well, it's broke now.

Any suggestions on what to do from here?
