Desktop App Crashes whenever starting GPS or RLV ride

Every time I try to start a GPS ride or RLV on the Desktopp App on windows it crashes.  ie just disappears.  Tacx supports solution was to uninstall and reinstall app.  When that did not work their answer was to wait for an upgrade.  With of course no idea of when this would happen. They did not even ask a single question about my system (which meets all the requirements as far as I can tell)   A somewhat unsatisfying answer to say the least.  Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Yes, from the get go with the iPad app. Very frustrating after spending 1,300 on their trainer! Sent an email and tried to call, but they don’t offer support until Monday morning during my work hours. Crappy customer support. I’m considering returning the trainer and getting a different brand. 

  • I would definitely give them a call.  Although support has still not fixed my problem I was impressed how quickly they returned my call.  (you type in a number on webpage and i got a call back in less then a minute).  They have followed up with a couple e-mails requested info about my system so it seems like they are working on it.  I am not actually too upset about it since discovering other RLV apps.  (bigringVR and Rouvy)
