Best way to keep tacx neo 2t smart stable and quiet?

I have purchased a tacx neo 2t smart training, I currently have it on the second floor in my house (on a carpet and an impact matt). It seems a bit unstable and not as quiet as expected, to make it as quiet and stable as possible as possible (essentially minimise noise to downstairs and lifting up when sprinting), would it be better to have the turbo on a study board instead of flexible carpet and impact matt - any other recommendations are also welcome?

Thanks

Chris
